Attachments are what Fungaloids decide to make their physical appearance.
These attachments can be plentiful and are usually things the Fungaloid has a
personal attachment to or just likes the appearance of.
Because of how moldable Fungaloid bodies are, these attachments can really be
anything as long as Fungaloid itself remains as 1 collective being, as if it were to
be split, it wouldn't be able to be controlled by the Fungaloid anymore and would
revert back to being a mass of fungus until either a core can grow within it
or another Fungaloid picks it up.
Physical pre-exsisting objects can be fused into the mass of a Fungaloid,
with Rustlings being a huge example of this as they very frequently modify themselves
with metallic prosthetics and enhancements to better suit their daily lives.
Attachments do not have to be permanent and 1 Fungaloid can have multiple forms over
its lifetime. Because of this Fungaloids are usually identified by distinct patterning
or other personal characteristics.
see above the same Fungaloid with attachments of a computer monitor, mantis and bear.
In the example the Fungaloid is a pure Yeastling made of a mint chocolate dough,
carrying a signature red cap.
Attachments can also be passed on by certain groups, relatives or societal enforcement.
In different societies and from Fungling to Fungling, attachments hold varying amounts of
importance in their lives. Some couldn't care less as long as they're alive, others view them as
the most important part of being an individual and these enforcements can often lead to conflicts.
In general however, attachments are unique to Fungaloids themselves and only the Fungaloid
themselves can truly dictate what they wish to be :]
