Due to the nature of the parasite that gives Fungaloids their sentience,
if a Fungaloid or matter such as spores infected with the parasite come in contact
with non Fungaloid matter an infectious transformation process begins.
This process can last from a few days to multiple weeks as the infected's
body is slowly replaced with fungal tissue resulting in an incredibly painful process
akin to having your nervous system burnt alive. Because of this, Fungaloids
that come out of this process usually suffer severe mental damage compared to
other formation methods.
By the end of the process however the infected is now fully fungi and a core will
form at the initial site of infection, similarily to Fungaloids formed through
mitosis, this core will be smaller than others at the same stage, making infected
Fungaloids more vunerable to cracking.
